A 65-year-old woman from Apex presented with a basal cell cancer on the top of her right ear. The cancer was removed by board-certified dermatologist and board-certified, fellowship trained Mohs surgeon Dr. Thomas Knackstedt with four stages of Mohs surgery and repaired with a staged mastoid interpolation flap.
