A 63-year-old man from Pittsboro presented with a basal cell cancer on the left side of the nose. The cancer was removed by board-certified dermatologist and board-certified, fellowship trained Mohs surgeon Dr. Thomas Knackstedt with one stage of Mohs surgery and allowed to heal on its own (called secondary intention).
